Solucion problema instalar programas sp3

Cuando queremos instalar ciertos programas (pinnacle studio 11) en ocasiones si tenemos un Windows XP SP3 de esos betas que rulan por internet, nos puede soltar un mensaje diciendo que requerimos SP2 para su instalacion y no nos deja….. pues bien, si editamos el registro (inicio-> Ejecutar-> Regedit) y cambiamos los siguientes valores como si fuesen un SP2, nos dejara instalar dichos programas!!!

“CSDVersion”=dword:00000200 —> en editar te va a salir un valor de 300: solo modifica a 200
“CSDReleaseType”=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Windows]
“CSDVersion”=dword:00000200 —> en editar te va a salir un valor de 300: solo modifica a 200

    Windows XP Service Pack 3

    We have been getting mixed feedback from users that have installed the Windows XP SP3. One of the biggest complaints is Microsoft did not include Direct X 10. The service pack employs many features of Vista and seems to turn your current version of XP into a steppingstone for purchasing a full copy of Vista. Please be sure your current computer programs will be able to handle the transition to SP3 or you may not be able to use them anymore.

    Se dice, se comenta, se lee por la red, que tras la cagada de Win2 Vista micro$oft está desarrollando el DirectX 9.f (que será el directx 10 de windows xp) supongo que aun es pronto para ver q tal vá la cosa ;)
